The Great Charter Of The Earth & Its People

9.png

Earth Rights: One is that The Earth is as much a living being as we are. We are all one. We are Nature. And as we accept that we are part of that system we must also accept that ‘it’ is equal to us. The Earth has Rights. This can be constituted as Law. Do we do it one country at a time as Equador has done - and as they have ratified it in legal process? Or do we do it for the whole as a whole? One Planet One Right.

Earth Charter: The second is a document by which we might live, as a Global Constitution. This evolves directly from the understandings born of living our lives locally. If we understand the land we live on - and that it is the sole source of everything we have - then this alone becomes the basis of such a charter; to pick up where the 1217 ‘Charter of the `Forests’ left off …

  • To find land for everyone - never to be ‘owned’ but always to be sanctuary and source

  • To satisfy all human needs - including personal governance over those needs

  • To restore all life to Earth, on Earth’s terms, outwards from Wilderness.

  • To establish a workable relationship for all people and the planet into posterity

  • To enable world cooperation that holds this balance for all time.

A Global Alliance To Unify All Nations, Peoples and Creeds Towards Peace On Earth

Making it all Work for everyone for ever.

Once The Great Task is underway, it must be supported with a global constitution which millions of people and countries may prescribe to in order to make this permanent for everyone.

We believe that this comes down to two great changes in our philosophy, and two to which we must ‘sign-up’, for us to love, to restore, to share in perpetuity. And to start the legal process that brings this world view into being.
